With a return to experimental electronic music now underway for Italian pop icon Franco Battiato, who will turn 70 next March, by way of a project called Joe Patti Experimental Group, Battiato collaborators and WTSH favorites Lilies On Mars have brought our attention by way of Facebook to their trippy and surprising 2012 cover of “No U Turn” from Battiato’s 1974 album Clic. We hope you enjoy their treatment of the song and the exquisite accompanying video they made for the track.
