The Underground Youth are a Manchester based three piece that create a wildly
exciting spin on post-punk. By treading between a heady mix of shoegaze and
psychedelic rock, the band pulls together the raw sounds of past and present
them in a new light.
After the success of last year's full length LP Delirium (Fuzz Club) the band have seen their popularity soar. Hugely successful tours of Europe and beyond followed. With youtube videos recently reaching 1,000,000 views, this band are more than ready to climb overground.

“The Perfect
Enemy” fluctuates between wild noise inspired by The Jesus and Mary Chain and
forlorn vocals reminiscent of the ballads of Bob Dylan.
Lead single “Rodion” strikes
instantly with a humming guitar, informing the resilient backbone to Dyer’s grippingly
husky vocals. Sharing similarities with Sonic Youth’s 2006 pop record Rather Ripped, this track proves that
post-punk is not just for the underground. The driving force of the bass line,
topped by a melodic upbeat riff releases a youthful vigor that is exhilarating.
