News: SPC ECO’s Sirens and Satellites Released on CD by Saint Marie Records.

One of the truly standout records of recent times, Sirens and Satellites, the fourth full-length and tenth release altogether from prolific UK duo SPC ECO, made its first appearance last year as a digital-only offering available through the band’s Bandcamp page. The quality of the record seemed to insist on a physical edition, a need recognized and now filled by Saint Marie Records with its highly welcome September 9th release of Sirens in CD format. The album is a masterfully complex, extended foray that pilots the genre into its own future and gives substance to the notion of progressive shoegaze.
