Amber Arcades is the project of the Netherlands' Annelotte de Graaf. “Turning
Light” comes from her new debut full-length, Fading Lines, just released on
Heavenly Recordings. The album was produced by New York’s Ben Greenberg, who
has worked with Beach Fossils, Beverly, and Holydrug Couple. Backing musicians on the record include Kevin
Morby and members of Quilt and Real Estate. The music draws from indie rock,
dream pop, shoegaze, folk, and krautrock idioms.
