Tijuana, Mexico’s Mint Field is the joint project of vocalist
and guitarist Estrella Sanchez and drummer and synth player Amor Amezcua, who work with a live lineup expanded by one to two additional musicians. The band’s
first full length, Pasar de las Luces, has just been released on Innovative Leisure. The album, which stretches out across two discs in its vinyl edition, features new material as well as refined versions of three earlier singles, offering a total of
thirteen atmospheric and utterly absorbing dream pop explorations.
