The Downtown
Music Festival just announced the lineup for their New York edition, happening
May 10-11 in the Manhattan's Lower East Side.
The first set of artists confirmed for this year's fest, put on by the record label and publishing company annually, include Black Hippy, Purity Ring, Earl Sweatshirt, Sky Ferreira, DIIV, Palma Violets, Trash Talk, Beach Fossils, Teengirl Fantasy, Inc., Ducktails, Royal Teeth, and Black Dave.
The music fest will take over a crop of NYC venues including Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, Pianos, and the Cake Shop. And for the first time ever, the festival will be hitting up Philadelphia, Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles, Denver and Las Vegas to spread the best new blood in hip-hop and R&B across the nation.
Two-day tickets are available now for $99. Not a bad bang for your buck.
