Album Trailer: Dum Dum Girls || Too True.

Creative direction on this video is credited to Dum Dum Girls cohort and fellow Brooklynite Tamaryn, of the shoegaze duo of the same name. Those familiar with Tamaryn will see her sensibility coming through in spades in this clip; it’s remarkable how well it meshes with the Dum-Dum Girls’ distinctive look and sound. Tamaryn has also been providing creative direction on photo shoots for the band and you can see some of the results here.

The album Too True will be released in Europe on January 27th, and in North America on January 28th via Sub Pop.

Track Spotlight: Computer Magic || Dreaming (Sun Ra cover).

Computer Magic, the Brooklyn artist also known as Danz, posted “Dreaming” on the first day of 2014. The track is a new rendition of a single released in the 1950s by the late experimental jazz colossus Sun Ra. The original classic can be heard here.
