No Sun is 4-piece
project based in Salt Lake City, UT. “Its Happening Again” is the second single
to be released from the band’s forthcoming debut LP, If Only, which comes
out on January 20, 2017. We were duly impressed by the first single, “Drown In You”, and this newest offering has us absolutely chomping at the bit for the
rest of the album. “Its Happening Again” provides a massive dose of anthemic shoegaze
sound that demands our attention – and absolutely has it.
Strata Florida is the dynamic
duo of Louise Trehy (ex-Swallow/4AD) and Peter Pavli. “Caroline” is the dreamy
opening track taken from the band’s exceptional and recently released sophomore LP, Falling
From Grace. The accompanying new video perfectly captures the lilting,
introspective quality of "Caroline" through a languid juxtaposition of beautiful
imagery. A sequence of silhouettes, washes of color, blurred close-ups and
patterned swirls dissolve into each other slowly, one after the other, in
tandem with the hypnotic melody. Creatively shot and edited by the band, it reflects
the charming lo-fi spirit of bedroom pop at its absolute best. We adore Strata
Florida and are delighted to premiere this lovely video for an equally lovely
song.
If you haven’t
heard Falling From Grace yet, we insist that you stream and/or buy it here

Shoegaze pioneers deardarkhead started
releasing music in 1988. Their career has spanned decades because they
continually create music that is beautiful, timeless and compelling. The band
represents the very best of both the classic and current shoegaze
movements.
This is the second exclusive remix deardarkhead plans to
release for absolutely free via When The Sun Hits. The remix is by Big
Beautiful Bluebottle, which is the duo of Ian Masters (Pale Saints/Spoonfed
Hybrid/ESP Summer) and Terako Terao. The song is taken from the band's highly
lauded Strange Weather LP, which was released in March 2016 by Saint Marie Records.
We are thrilled to provide this FREE download to
