New Track: The KVB || In Deep.

WTSH faves The KVB have released a brand new single, "In Deep", to promote their forthcoming LP Of Desire, which is set for release on March 11. The duo have described it as "their most fully formed record yet" and if the new single is any indication, it's going to be brilliant.

New Video: LSD & The Search For God || (I Don't Think We Should) Take It Slow.

The nine year wait is nearly over! LSD & The Search For God, who captured gazers hearts back in 2007 with their debut self-titled EP, have announced a long-awaited follow up EP, Heaven Is A Place, which will be released on January 15 via Deep Space Recordings and Mind Expansion. "(I Don't Think We Should) Take It Slow" is the second single to be shared from the upcoming release, with the first being "Heaven" (watch that video here). Pre-order Heaven Is A Place here.

Soundcloud Track of the Day: Wild Nothing || Reichpop.

Wild Nothing has shared "Reichpop", a third track (listen to the first two, "TV Queen" & "To Know You", here) from the upcoming LP, Life of Pause, which is set for release in the US via Captured Tracks on February 19. Simon Raymonde's Bella Union will be releasing it in the UK on the same day. We've been huge fans of Wild Nothing since Day 1 - looking forward to this immensely.

When you wake up on a random Tuesday and discover that a new Astrobrite track has been unleashed upon the world...2016, I like you already. (On a more somber note, all proceeds from this go to friends of the artist who have tragically lost a child. Happy that there is a new Astrobrite track, but very sad that someone has left the world too soon. Love & strength to those affected.)

Remake: Dum Dum Girls x Medicine || Lord Knows.

Medicine's Brad Laner shares the backstory for this track on his own site:  

Back in the fall of 2012 while we were hard at work on “To The Happy Few”, The Dum Dum Girls reached out to me to do a remix of their fantastic tune, “Lord Knows”. I decided to do a full-on Medicine re-make/cover of the tune using only Dee Dee’s vocals from their original version. Jim and I built an entirely new track and Beth added harmony vocals. The end result probably sounds more like old-school Medicine than anything on “TTHF”. Flash forward three years to the month and it still has never been released for whatever reason despite everyone involved saying it came out great. So I’ve decided to share it, because what’s the point of keeping it hidden? We’re nobody’s private dancers. Enjoy!

Classic Tracks Archive: Medicine || The Pink.

"The Pink" is the lead track from Medicine's sophomore full-length The Buried Life.

Whimsical, funny and lovely all at once, here's the video for London, England quintet Novella's track "Sentences", a high point from their 2015 debut full-length Land. We recommend the vinyl edition of the album because it comes with a 7" of two outstanding additional tracks, "Blue Swallows" and "Younger Than Yesterday"—the title of the latter referring to The Byrds' classic album of 1967.

Land anchors Byrdsian psychedelia to krautrock grooves and threads effervescent jangle with visionary lyrics to transcendent effect. The band is also capable of a proper kiss-off tune, as evidenced in the somewhat BJM-like live din wonderfully conjured in this performance.
